WELCOME

Hello Parents,

Welcome to fourth grade at L.F.C.S., Junior Academy! I'm so excited to begin this year with you.  We will be working closely together to further your child's success.  It will be my pleasure to share the adventure that is 4th grade with you. I am delighted to be your child’s teacher this year. It will be a year full of exciting discoveries and great memories! As your student’s teacher, I’d like to take the opportunity to introduce myself to you.

I was born and raised in San Diego. I have been able to travel, which is fun, but I cant imagine living anywhere else. I attended Southwestern college  for my undergraduate studies, where I met my wonderful wife. I attained my degree and credential at National University.  I taught fourth grade for two years in the National School District before joining the L.F.C.S. team.  I am thrilled to be teaching fourth grade at L.F.C.S. this year. I love teaching and feel blessed to play such an important part in the lives of my students. Watching them develop is a great pleasure! When I’m not teaching, I love reading and spending time with my wife, Tamara, and our two sons, Malachi age 9 and Isaiah age 7. Our favorite things to do include bike riding, hiking/camping and watching documentaries on Netflix.

As our year begins I want you to know how excited I am to be working with each of you to ensure your child’s success in the fourth grade.
